R.M. Howe, Her Mother and the Future!

R.M. Howe, author of “Azalea and I”, continues with her insight to a life of experiences and influences. Experiences and influences that have shaped, not only her life, her family’s lives, but have been an influence on the writings from this celebrated family of authors. R.M. Howe, Her Mother and the Future! Introduces Muriel Howe, author of Pendragon, just re-released on Amazon Kindle and gives a brief taster of her mother and a major influence on her life.

“Pendragon”. Now in some bookstores. One of my favourite books written by my mother, Muriel Howe. Big house. Power. Wealth. Gorgeous surroundings in the Lake District. Sexy good-looking men. Dare I say lusting and smouldering goes on. Oh, if only I could get a bit of this.

Feisty women. Determined, intelligent women. Glamour. The men may have an odd problem or secret BUT the hero is certainly worth sorting out and waiting for. Just the kind dreams are made of. Happy ending. A HAPPY book with INTRIGUE.

My mother wrote about twenty-five books most with Lake District backgrounds. Also, a few set in Canada where she lived, worked and toured around for two years. She was a talented artist too starting the Ambleside Art Society in her seventies. Please look at the website for the photos of her work and the photos in the gallery.

Now — my week has been busy. Not only do I write but as I starve in a garret (all good authors do) I have to go to work as well to pay bills. SO — I have been working as a guide in a local (to me) large country house. The season has come to an end with several wonderful staff parties in the grand house. How splendid to feel a part of history and the aristocracy – partly. OH, if I win the lottery, I want a house like this to love it and expand the business opportunities. Dreaming. I am smiling because THE HOUSE has endless stories to tell. Be patient.

Now – what comes next? More books. Bit by bit. Azalea my first book, is now re-launched by Golden Storyline Publishers on Amazon and in Waterstones. Personally I take my dog out a lot more when I am not working. Rosie my Border Collie deserves it as she has been so patient waiting for me to come back from work.

Thank you for all that have liked my website and blogs”.
